This Spindle is available only on the Mini-Mill 4 Series.

It offers automatic tool change via a pneumatic clamp system.

It can be supplied with manual push button tool release or with automatic tool change with a 6 station tool pick up tray. (see picture A)

The tool holders include a pull stud for clamping and interchangeable collets allowing up to 1/4" tool capacity.

Compressed air is required for Tool Change

• To cool the DC motor compressed air of 0.5 to 0.8 bar is used (also FS 33 - 60)
• The spindle units are equipped with hybrid spindle bearings of accuracy class ABEC 9 / P2s. These bearings are lubricated with high-speed grease for life. (also FS 33 - 60)
• Sealing air is used to prevent penetration of shavings and cooling agents.
• Max. tool shaft size/collet ID 6.3 mm/1/4 inch. (also FS 33 - 60)
